We have stayed at this place numerous times, and it is usually great, however this time was not so. The owners have implemented so many rules now it makes it impossible to enjoy. There is no music outside of your cabin.. fire out at 11.. quiet time after 10. boat must be docked by 8pm, when it is light out until 9:30! The owners lack in some serious customer service. We stay in the same cabin each time we go, this time the stench of sewage from the washroom was so bad we needed to keep the washroom door closed at all times, and the bed in the " master bedroom" has been changed and it is virtually like sleeping on a boxspring. The childrens beach area was still fairly clean, but the " point" raft to swim out to is gone. The people in the park are fantastic! I doubt we will return while it is under current ownership.

Amazing cottage with plenty if fishing. Great owners who are very kind and welcoming. My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and were only suppose to stay for 2 days, bit loved it so much ended up staying for 3 days -went home grabbed the kids and brought them back with is to the cottage and ended up staying for 7 days total.

This place is very kid friendly and lgbtq friendly. Great place for a fishing , the fish are everywhere. The water is clean and great for a kids to swim. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone

Dear Michelle, I regret you did not enjoy your stay at the cottage. I wish you had told us about the smell in the cottage and the uncomfortable mattress as both those issues were easily solved.
We found the source of the smell, it was a dead mouse behind the stove. Dogs are actually allowed in the cottage, there is just an additional charge of $25 for cleaning. (I sent you a confirmation e-mail with this information).
We still rent the paddleboat out upon request, we just changed the place where we keep it. We do have a quiet time from 11 pm until 7 am, but you can still enjoy a campfire during those hours (as most of our guests do). We just ask our guest to keep any noise to a minimum during the quiet time. Playing music outside is not allowed to make our place enjoyable for everyone.
The raft was removed at the request of our insurance company.

Been going to Glen-Lor with my family for 4 decades. This is not a luxury resort. Glen-Lor is a rustic descendant of a hunting/fishing camp. If you want to stay in an affordable, clean, and quiet camp on a beautiful lake with great fishing, swimming, water sports, and boating, this is the place for you. Great for families. My kids adore the place.
